  1. Welcome back, I hope your having a good year. Awaiting your reply to the comments I made in the "UFO ICBM/Nuke Connection: Does It Really Exist?" post.

  2. I re-read your comments and my replies in "UFO ICBM/Nuke Connection..." and I thought that I had answered what I could. I'm not familiar with the RE-8 story so I'm afraid I've no relevant comment to be made. And, I've yet to secure a copy of the books that you had listed. Perhaps we can start afresh?

  3. Indeed, it might be best to start off with a summary of what I suspect is probably the easiest of the stories to disprove.

The time is the early 1970's (eg 1970-1975), the location is Davis–Monthan AFB. It is late at night and the three man tower crew spot what they think are landing lights over Tuscon.

Believing them to be from a radio-out plane trying to make an emergency landing they give a green light signal to land while summoning both security and rescue services.

The light(s) approaching from the Runway 12 direction fly along the runway and then divert over the AMRC before heading off into the night.

The tower crew askes the pilot of a T-6 Texan used as a base hack to fly out after the light and determine the model of the aircraft.

He does so and reports that the UFO toyed with him for a bit before disappearing and materializing right off his wingtip at which point he headed for base as quick as he could. When asked what it looked like he describes it as being 'full of eyes'.

Three questions that need to be answered.

    1. Is it possible to see the AMRC from the control tower as one of the characters is described as doing at the start of the story?

    2. During the approach the light is described as drowning out the flashers at the 12 end of the runway. When I did a cursory data search I found that the flashers were at the 30 end of the runway, have they been moved between the 1970's and the 2010's, or are they at both ends?

    3. If the UFO was as bright as described surely others would have noticed, especially as Tuscon is much closer to Davis–Monthan AFB than I realised (Or the author of Scareforce implies.)
